Elementary School Announcements

Updated April 26, 2024

Good morning! Today is Friday, April 26th and it is a Day 1 on our schedule.

Monday is “I for Imitation day”.  Come dressed like a friend, your teacher or any adult in the school and see if people can guess who you are.

This month’s habit is “Sharpen the Saw.” In just a few minutes, I’ll be announcing our Trojan Trompers who were selected for being the best at following this habit! Stay tuned!

Happy Birthday today to Addisyn Lockwood and Baylor Spaur

Happy Birthday over the weekend to Mrs. Perry

Don’t forget to do the Pledge of Allegiance this and every morning. At Pleasantville Elementary, we grow learners & leaders! Thanks everyone and make it a great day!

Now it’s time to announce our Trojan Tromp participants for today’s tromp! These students were the best this past month of following our Habit of the Month: Sharpen the Saw. This means these students are great at taking care of themselves by getting enough sleep, eating right, staying balanced with exercise and rest and doing things that make their mind, body, heart and soul feel their best! Please come to the music room once your name has been announced for a group picture!

Are you in grades 1st through 6th? Do you like to perform? Do you have a special talent? Well if you said yes to either of these things, then we want you! We are bringing a talent show to Pleasantville but we are missing one key part, the talent! We are looking for anyone that has a talent that they would like to share with the school! It can be anything from dancing to singing to telling jokes to juggling! Auditions will be April 29th in the morning. All you will do is bring your act to Miss Whitlow's room and perform for Mrs. Sabharwal and Miss Whitlow! To sign up, see your teachers and they can fill out the google form with the information about you and your act! We can't wait to see all of your amazing talents!!
