Biographies

Troy Padellford

Troy Padellford is currently serving his fourth year of his 4th term as a Pleasantville School board member. He has received the Iowa Association of School Boards’  “Better Boardsmanship Award” consecutively for the last three years.

Mr. Padellford is a 1986 Pleasantville High School graduate.  He earned a B.S. in Pharmacy from Drake University in Des Moines.  He is the Pharmacy Director at the Knoxville Hospital and Clinics in Knoxville, Iowa.

Mr. Padellford and his wife Jennifer have three children.  Joshua received a B.S. from the University of Iowa and is attending Iowa State University majoring in Civil Engineering.  Natalie is a sophomore majoring in Animal Science at Iowa State University, and Emma is in 8th grade at Pleasantville Middle School.

Ron Danks

Ron Danks is currently serving his second year of his first term as a Pleasantville School board member.

Mr. Danks is a 1986 Pleasantville High School graduate. He attended Central College in 1990 and earned a Law Degree from Indiana University School of Law in 1994. He is currently an attorney in the  law office of Myers, Myers, Danks, and Smith.

Mr. Danks and his wife Susan have one daughter. Emma is in 4th grade at Pleasantville Elementary.

Josh Cook

Josh Cook was born and raised in Britt, IA and is a 1998 Graduate from West Hancock High School in Britt, IA. Mr. Cook is a 2002 Graduate from Simpson College with a degree in Business Management.

Mr. Cook is currently self employed as a pork producer and is a partner in a construction business.  Mr. Cook is also a volunteer football coach.

Josh is married to Tonya Cook who works for the Iowa State Fair. Josh and Tonya have three children. Their oldest son Caleb is in fourth grade, daughter Hannah is in kindergarten, and youngest son Canaan is two.

Kenny Sutter

Kenny Sutter is currently serving his second year of his second term as a Pleasantville School board member.

Mr. Sutter is a 1979 Pleasantville High School graduate. He is currently a local farmer and businessman.

Mr. Sutter and his wife Leanne have two sons. Tyler and Jacob are both graduates of Pleasantville Schools and reside with their families in Pleasantville.
