Upcoming Events
The Pleasantville High School Dance Team has an active performance schedule all year. Upcoming performances and events include:
MONDAY FEBRUARY 3 - our first "Spring Show Dancer" practice for any girl ages pre-school through MIddle School. Participants will meet at 8:15 am (during the late-start/teacher professional development) and learn the opening routine for the Dance Team Spring Show (performance date is April 11). Walk-in registrations are welcome, and the cost is $25. There will be three practices for the Show, and participants will also receive a 2020 Spring Show Dance tshirt as well as snacks at each practice.
TUESDAY FEBRUARY 4 - we will be honoring our two PHS Dance seniors prior to the Boys Varsity basketball game, and then performing a novelty "bag" routine at halftime of the Boys Varisty game.
Also on February 4: after school until 4:30 pm will be our first "Spring Show Dancer" practice for any BOYS interested in participating! This practice will be in the Elementary School gym, and walk-in registrations are welcome.
UPCOMING in March:
Tuesday, March 3 - the PHS Dance Team will be featured halftime entertainment for the 2020 Girls State Basketball Tournaments at Wells-Fargo Arena!
Saturday, March 7 - seniors Kasey Pelzer and Payton Sheets will represent Pleasantville on the 2020 "All-Iowa Honor Dance Team" which will be featured in a televised performance during the 3A Girls State Basketball Tournament Championship game.
